The Serpent Templar

I've wanted to do a snake knight for a long time. The sculpting process was a constant battle to keep the anatomy snake or reptile inspired despite the fact that he needed to stand upright with legs and arms in a very human sort of way.
I wanted the armor to be quite weathered. As if their personality was still quite raw. animalistic, feral, and wouldn't care to keep armor pristine at all.
I wanted to try the cloth simulation tools in zbrush. I think I still have some work to do to make proper use of it. For this figure, I symmed the cloth drapery and then added the holes afterward.
Thanks to Olivier Couston for helping to get me started with Arnold Rendering for the turnarounds. He's a master. I'm Still learning how to optimize my settings and get a good clay feel. I'm not sure if Maya can save out mp4's natively so I used blender to render my image sequence after the fact.
Also, would like to thank Kevin Brunt for his thoughts on asset presentation. I tried to push it for this project.

Made some fun poses to 3d print :)
