Legions of the Shroud Messiah

Work in progress rendering of my next UE5 character model. This is an original design. Sculpted in Zbrush. Textured in Substance Painter.

Animations are retargeted to the Manny rig from Mixamo.

Chaos cloth in UE5.3 
I wanted to see how much I could do with Chaos cloth for this character. The goal was to keep things very plug-and-play with the Manny Rig with no additional bones, no additional animation blueprints, and without cloth self-collision. Instead, I'm using low poly proxy geometry to represent the layers of cloth. All secondary physics including the chain and Jaw are using chaos cloth physics at a baseline of 1 iteration per frame.

It took some iteration but I wanted to show that I could sort out all the layering happening with the cloth draping from the waist.

140k tris total. The UVs are organized by body region. Head, Arms, Toso, and Legs. I wanted to leave this open for some customization later. Cloth and Chain will have unique chaos material profiles, so I isolated those as well.
